SALARY
Starting wage is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience
REPORTS TO
Operations Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Partners with outside Account Manager to facilitate the sale of packaging products. Manages and coordinates customer orders and inquiries and interfaces with related manufacturing and shipping personnel, ensuring quality products are received by the customer as purchased.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinates with Account Manager on existing and new business opportunities
2. Process inquiries regarding orders, price requests, basic product information, verification of ship date, expediting orders, ordering samples, etc.
3. Reviews orders for accuracy, calculates and verifies product pricing per established company schedules, and enters all order information including customer, product, board, pricing, quantity, and ship dates
4. Process price quoting which includes obtaining freight rates and creating and forwarding quotes to customer
5. Expedites product orders through manufacturing and shipping
6. Creates, updates, and maintains account price pages
7. Creates new customers in the CRM database. Collects all necessary documents on all potential new customers
8. Resolves all customer complaints and processes credits as needed
9. Processes artwork/design and obtains approval for print requests
10. Contacts customers who are past due on invoices
11. Coordinates with other Account Coordinators and Account Managers on cross territory sales
12. Connects, assists, and redirects phone calls and emails
13. Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Requires a high school diploma, two-year technical degree preferred.
2. Mimimun of 6 months related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Excellent interpersonal written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
4. Intermediate skills within Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and ability to learn company applications
5. Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions, decimals, and percentages.
6. Ability to prioritize and multi-task
7. Ability to solve problems and utilize creative and divergent thinking
8. Self-starter, ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and respond in an efficient manner
9. Basic understanding of invoicing, accounts payable and receivable
HOURS
Person hired must be available to work Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with a 1/2-hour unpaid lunch or 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch.
