Description


The Customer Information Representative provides technical and product information on behalf of Corteva businesses for current and potential customers. The agent monitors functional mailboxes, answers phones, and responds to electronic customer requests. Request types include technical information, samples, literature, pricing, product availability, and regulatory. The agent provides project support as needed. Agents work with stakeholders to update and communicate work process, business, and product changes.

  • Utilize a variety of on-line references and databases to fulfill requests

  • Respond to and accurately resolve or escalate customer requests
  • Document customer inquiries in appropriate application for business purposes and to count towards monthly metrics
  • Execute proficiency in business specific software including Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, the Internet/Intranet, and other related technologies that support the role
  • Contribute to effective team output through cooperation, participation and a commitment to shared vision and goals
  • Provide project management skills as needed to support customer projects and in some cases lead the project
  • Project work may include: collating of mailings, packing envelops and boxes with literature to send to clients and customers,
  • Lifting of packages that include literature (up to 15 pounds).
  • Attend all compulsory training and identifying and taking action on self-development training

Qualifications

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

  • Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Prefer 1-2 years call center/customer service experience
  • Must be able to work on site (Indianapolis, IN) 3 days per week and from home 2 days per week.
  • Strong Microsoft office applications knowledge
  • Data entry, customer service, or other applicable experience preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP helpful
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
