WHAT YOU'LL DO
Our efficient, committed Supply Chain team builds partnerships to get the right product to the right place at the right time. Logistics? Ready to pivot.
You’ll contribute to the overall management of operating costs by overseeing the end-to-end order fulfillment process of a regional distribution center.
Reports to: Manager, Customer Fulfillment
Direct Reports: N/A
Location: Onsite at our Preston, WA office 2-3 days a week OR Remote, work from home
Compensation: $50,000-$80,000
Annual Bonus Potential: 8% of annual base salary. Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.

Serve as the primary point of contact for specific Retail Customer channel / Retail Customer and Talking Rain Sales team becoming deeply integrated into the TR/Customer business.

Attend S&OP calls to understand promotional calendar, reset timing and ensures on time and in full execution to promotional and seasonal activity.

Coordinate communication and set up during retail reset in ERP pricing and item set up

Act as primary point of contact for any customer projects / initiatives as it pertains to order fulfillment.

Oversee the customer order process, including order creation (both EDI and manual), release, planning and delivery.

Manage OOS (out of stocks) and the order allocation process, communicating ongoing shortages to our customers and Sales team as necessary.

Validate and verify pricing, lead-time, promotions and order status throughout all systems—Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS) or Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Partner with our Sales, Planning, and Quality teams, distribution centers and carriers, to ensure customer demand and performance targets are met.

Create customer scorecard and reporting. Review metrics weekly and monthly with targeted audience.

Review and actively manage customer deductions, root cause analysis with focus on charge back avoidance. Should have a solid understanding of customer compliance and is actively driving cost avoidance conversations / activities.

Owns communication across all partners including DC, SCS, Sales, Quality and driving corrective actions to address issues.

Is seen as the SME in order fulfillment and takes lead when / as needed in category or cross-customer activities.

Reconcile sales orders for end-of-month processes.

Responsible for keeping data base of vendor manuals current.

Work closely across the organization to ensure to vendor manual compliance and service level targets are met to avoid customer chargebacks.

Ability to travel up to 10%, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed for special assignments.

Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, notifying immediate supervisor of any food safety and/or quality issues.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of one (1) year of Supply Chain experience, ideally in consumer-packaged goods (CPG).

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Exposure to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Transportation Management System (TMS) or Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
