As a socially responsible health care employer and provider, we require our associates to show proof of annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations unless approved exemption is provided. An approved exemption from COVID-19 vaccination will require weekly testing for the Associate. Additional information will be provided by HR upon hire.


Position includes a one-week on-site training where travel to our Bedford Heights Location is required.


Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio/Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio
is seeking a mission-minded Associate to join us as a full time (37.5 per week) Operator.


SUMMARY

The Contact Center Operator is a champion of our “In This Together” ethos with a particular focus on Clearing the Slate, Opening the Door, and Making a Connection. This role serves as the first point of contact for all incoming calls to the affiliate and will provide superior customer service in managing and routing call volume. Successful Operators are positive individuals who provide professional, efficient, and caring customer service.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Answer and route all incoming calls on digital phone system.
  • Assist callers in identifying needs and then routing calls appropriately.
  • Understand directory information and how to use information to route calls or provide information as appropriate.
  • Field general questions from the public or routes calls appropriately.
  • Manage affiliate central voice mail box and route messages as appropriate.
  • Notify call center manager when issues arise.
  • Comply with all individual and team performance metrics.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality in all interactions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Minimum of 1-year customer service experience required
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Nepali, or Somali strongly desired
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with digital phone systems (i.e. ShoreTel, RingCentral, Cisco)
  • Commitment to the ethos, values, and service standards of Planned Parenthood
