Location(s): Arlington Heights, IL; and All Sites
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week
Salary: $17.75/hr
Clearbrook is a non-profit, social services agency that specializes in providing innovative tools, services and opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as Autism and Down Syndrome.
The janitor is responsible for the daily cleaning and disinfecting of offices spaces such as, but not limited to: common areas, offices, restrooms, and office equipment. Provides upkeep, performs basic repairs, maintains cleaning supply inventories, and operates cleaning equipment. The job objective is to maintain a consistent, clean, and safe environment for Clearbrook and its employees.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be 21 years of age
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety rules and regulations
- Past custodian experience is a plus
