Immediate opening for a Facilities Custodian in Oceanside , CA who possesses:
- 6 months facilities custodian (or similar) experience
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
- HS Diploma /GED
FULL DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the facilities' cleanliness for a safe working environment
- Responsible for keeping inventory and restocking
- Maintaining floors clean by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces
- Cleans, sanitizes, and replenishing supplies in restrooms & lunchrooms
- Completes minor repairs such as replacing lightbulbs and unclogging toilets
- Notifies the Facility Manager when major repairs are needed
- Fills out janitorial checklists at the end of every shift
- Assisting maintenance with preventative maintenance and other facility tasks
- Follows safety rules and precautions
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Works well independently
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
- Time management skills
- Follows written and verbal instructions from management
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, climbing
- Have the ability and willingness to work overtime rotational shift, nights, weekends, holidays if required
Hourly Wage Range $16-$18
