To be responsible, under the direction of the Executive Managers, Property Manager or Project Managers, for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings and the surrounding grounds, and all areas related to the day-to-day cleanliness of homes, remodels, communities, and campuses (local and out of town). Essential duties & responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1) Cleaning wood, carpet (rugs), LVT/LVP, linoleum, tile, and other floors. 2) Emptying trash cans as well as collecting and taking out trash and recycling, dusting all surfaces, disinfecting surfaces, shampooing rugs and carpets, waxing floors, washing all windows, changing air filters and cleaning vents. 3) Perform custodial work & grounds work to include gutter maintenance, landscaping, and snow shoveling/removal. 4) Refurbishing of apartments/commercial spaces prior to tenant occupancy. 5) Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, refurbishing, annual inspections, and inventories and maintaining a thorough inventory. 6) Using equipment, commercials vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners, ladders, stools, lifts., snow blowers, shovels, and bladed equipment. 7) Participate in emergency stand-by schedule for evening, weekend & holiday coverage.

Training in some or all the areas a plus: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, lawn care/landscaping, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, a/c, and appliance repair. 4) Valid Indiana Driver’s License. 5) Supply own small hand tools, belt, and bag. 6) Maintain clean appearance and follow company uniform policy. 7) Ability to read & interpret documents, math ability and reasoning ability.
