Custodial Worker (1st & 3rd shift available) Job at World Harvest Church
World Harvest Church has an immediate opening for a full-time custodian.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary housekeeping services in the facilities to include, but not limited to cleaning and sanitizing restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispensers.
- Assist with the set-up of facilities for church services, meetings, conferences, events, school functions, classrooms, etc.
- Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, etc.
- Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finisher to hard surface floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Wash accessible interior and exterior windows.
- Lock and unlock assigned room doors and/or buildings along with security.
- Assist with inventory control and security at the security desk.
- Safely operate all vehicles and other job related equipment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2-3 years of a verifiable employment history.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with a good driving record and be insurable.
- Must undergo a comprehensive background check.
