Cultivation Technician Job at Green Leaf Medical of Virginia, LLC
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Cultivation Technicians are responsible for the day-to-day operations within the gLeaf’s harvest areas. Cultivation Technicians must possess a driven, hardworking attitude, as this job is physically demanding. Some record keeping skill is required. This is a full-time position and requires working weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Harvest and break down the cannabis plants
- Manicure cannabis
- Operate automated trimming equipment
- Clean the harvest and drying areas
- Organize and weigh usable cannabis slated for packaging
- Maintain a clean work area
- Carryout various harvesting techniques in a team environment and assist other departments/associates as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds
- Walking or standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, bend over and/or crouch for extended periods of time.
- Moderate to loud exposure to noise level.
- Required to perform* grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motion*.
- Must be able to work in humid/hot, dark/extremely bright and cold conditions
- Must be able to climb 2+ levels to reach plants in a vertical grow platform
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
