Cultivation Operator Job at IgadI Ltd
This role is responsible for executing production plans in keeping with the Company’s operating procedures for cannabis cultivation.
- Ability to carry out and complete daily tasks as directed by management in a team or independent setting
- A complete and comprehensive understanding of all vegetative and flowering cultivation practices
- A beginning understanding of production planning, crew management and daily/weekly task organization and logistics set forth by managers
- Mastery of key tasks, including but not limited to cloning, watering, transplant, plant move, vegetative crop work, canopy thinning, trellising, water meter readings, green waste disposal, and facility cleaning
- Monitors growing conditions and reviews changes in humidity, moisture and temperature and cultivation procedures to ensure conformance with quality control standards.
- Inspects crop to determine conditions such as leaf texture, bloom size and the existence of pests or disease at behest of Plant Specialist and IPM Manager
- Harvesting: cutting plants; trimming cut plants; removing flowering tops and weighing.
- Curing: hanging and dry-racking flowers; monitoring curing process and climate control; labeling and weighing.
- A beginning understanding of general maintenance tasks within the greenhouses and the ability to assist the maintenance manager in tasks
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to state and local compliance, security protocols, and access protocols.
- Any other tasks assigned by Management
- The site is located at an indoor warehouse facility
Required Skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to read and interpret written and oral instructions
- Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale
- Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check per state and local regulations
- Must have current MED badge
- Be able to stand 8 hours a day
- Be able to lift 50 lbs or more
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
