Culinary Management Level Position with Open Availability- temporary position with potential for long term role
The Culinary Leadership position is a great opportunity for the right leader. We are seeking individuals with integrity, a servant's heart, excellence, a growth mindset, professionalism, and flexibility.
The Culinary Leader will help to oversee the operations of the entire kitchen, ensuring quality of all products, compliance to all food safety practices and Health Code regulations, train and develop his/her team, maintain cleanliness of area and equipment, monitor food costs and labor, oversee the truck order and manage the inventory. Must have great organization skills ans be able to manage and organize inventory.
This position is physically demanding and the individual must be able to stand on his/her feet daily, while working with the team to make sure food safety standards are being followed.
$17-$19/hour based on experience plus OT opportunities (commensurate with education and experience)
45-50 hr. workweek required (pays OT). Closed on Sundays.
Full time benefits include paid time off, insurance contributions, matching 401K plan (waiting period for retirement plan).

Works in collaboration with existing leadership to oversee and coordinate kitchen-oriented strategies and put ideas into action that drive the store towards our vision. Guides the leadership to push towards that vision which accounts for food safety, speed, and quality. Hands on coaching role involved in daily activities of cooking, cleaning, and ensuring operational excellence is being executed ALL DAY, EVERY DAY! Development and mentorship of culinary leadership team and trainers, setting the standards for excellence and accountability to lead by example.

- Preventing unnecessary food waste and teaching other team members the same.
- Handle special events to be sure they run smoothly.
- Consistently follow all food safety and food quality procedures and standards.
- Orders are consistently accurate and meet goals.
- College degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in restaurant or kitchen management role
- Servesafe Certified
- Must be able to handle fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented and organized with strong time management
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Must be able to handle difficult situations
- Ability to work in a team environment and as part of a high performance leadership team
- Ability to anticipate problems and adapt and make decisions quickly.
