CUSTOMER SUPPORT SPECIALIST (MUST have B to B experience)
Position Purpose: The Customer Support Specialist (CSS) is responsible for complete oversight of accounts, including managing the day-to-day needs of the customers. Perform frequent contact via telephone and e-mail communications. Perform daily administrative functions: updating the company database systems, and assuring proactive communication, as directed by the Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements and company instructions. A Customer Support Specialist may be assigned to other tasks depending upon the Customer Service Department’s needs at the time.
Essential Position Functions:
This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned task. May be assigned some or all duties indicated below depending on job progression level.
Manage all aspects of daily customer support/ administrative functions, both internally and externally.
Acquire knowledge of manager daily tasks and be able to take charge in manager’s absence.
Receive and processing all Customers Requests for Quotes (RFQ).
Ensure quotes are reported to customers on a prompt and timely basis.
Provide proactive updates to customers with information on any possible work delays and part problems. Successfully manage difficult situations and resolution of issues/problems.
Provide positive inter-company interface with other departments
Process Customers purchase requests.
Logging in all customer complaints in database, routing to responsible area and the follow up of the complaint.
Provide customer with RMA number and complete RMA form, schedule and attend MRB meeting to review returned merchandise.
Completing Corrective and Preventative Actions as requested by the customer or in-house request, routing to responsible area and the follow up.
Processing customer revision changes.
Performs other duties as required by business needs.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Computer Knowledge, Word, Excel
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and skills required.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
