This 100+ bed short term acute care medical center in Northern Idaho is actively searching for exceptional, experienced Staff RNs to join its Critical Care Patient Services team. This person will join an outstanding nursing program, and a non-profit hospital that’s become a staple in the community over its 50+ years. Centered around its most acute services is a full host of community health services including Primary Care, a great Family Birthing Center, Oncology Care, and a highly-rated Orthopedics program.

Reporting to the Shift Manager of Intensive Care Nursing and the ICU Charge Nurse, the Staff RN will serve in a busy and high-acuity unit. Your talents will join those of an outstanding unit as you collaborate across disciplines and departments to ensure that patient care is front and center. Supported by two CCRN Charge Nurses to provide clinical vision, leadership, and mentorship, this strong staff of 30+ Critical Care Registered Nurses, a CCRN Critical Care Educator, Post Anesthesia RNs, and support staff have earned awards for outstanding patient care and satisfaction.

This multi-specialty Critical Care Unit / Intensive Care Unit has had an astounding track record of delivering the highest quality. The Critical Care RN will take direct clinical patient care role in this award winning 16-bed Intensive Care Unit, and you’ll get to work with an outstanding staff. Clinical support will be provided by Interventionists who are staffed around the clock, offering Cardiac, Stroke, and Post-Surgical Care,

The RN Critical Care Nurse will play an important part in the day-to-day clinical and patient operations of the Intensive Care Services Department. The Critical Care Nurse will take responsibility for patient assessment and history review, working with the physician and family to develop a clear path of care. Working under unit leadership, and in close collaboration with attending physicians, the Nurse will help formulate a care plan and execute on that plan. This person will get the opportunity to grow their skills through developing efficiency upgrades and operational improvements, and they’ll get to lead projects to execute on those visions.
