The company is seeking an experienced Credit Manager with outstanding communication skills and a customer-focused approach to their work. This position is responsible for all aspects of accounts receivables and requires excellent relationship and customer service skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain processes and procedures to analyze accounts and establish appropriate credit limits and approval/denial guidelines
  • Review and conduct in-depth analysis of credit applications and financial statements for large commercial accounts
  • Communicate effectively to customers regarding new account applications and credit decisions
  • Manage the performance of the Accounts Receivable department and maintaining credit policy and operations, analyzing delinquent accounts via differential analysis, and determining plan to collect outstanding receivables
  • Effective customer communication regarding accounts receivable status, including the investigation and resolution of billing disputes
  • Manage past due and high-risk accounts and implement collection efforts based on management strategy
  • Maintain customer database and develop necessary reports for decision making
  • Develop, train and monitor performance of credit staff
  • Implement new techniques, ideas and solutions for a variety of credit challenges
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships throughout the company to ensure credit management needs are being met
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts and resources to assist in effective credit management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of credit management or commercial lending experience
  • Prior experience leading, coaching and developing direct reports
  • Strong credit and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop customer relationships, negotiate, and effectively relay information and resolve disputes
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and Washington state credit laws
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Possess a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record. Travel is occasionally required.

HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE

This is a full time, salaried position, typically Monday - Friday. 45+ hours/week.
