Responsibilities:
The Credit Authorization Team Lead, working in conjunction with the Credit Risk Team, will also play a role in reducing fraud through the various tools and resources provided. The opportunity to provide continuous feedback, recommendations, and to identify opportunities in regards to reducing risk are expected. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of credit related documents obtained per company policy. The Team Lead is also responsible for ensuring all team members are updated on the current processes and are adhering to the SLAs for the department.
- Validate Customer contact information in TransUnion (TLO) Database
- Validate Customer Information in company systems
- Verify information and documents provided on credit applications (according to Company policies and procedures) to assist in reducing fraudulent transactions
- Provide continuous feedback and recommendations to improve processes and reduce fraud
- Maintain confidentiality regarding customer documentation provided
- Provide timely customer follow-up to Internal and External Customers
- Serve as a subject matter expert regarding the loan product and provide a detailed explanation to customers

- Review and validate supplemental information and documents provided by customers and employees
- Maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Receive inbound calls from customers
- Make outbound calls to customers to verify application information
- Process applications from customers
- Engage customers via chat, SMS and Email as needed
- Assist with training and updating team members
- Track and collect on Title Loans as expected
- Maintain time cards for all direct reports
- Assist with setting strategy for all company related goals
- Other duties and activities as assigned
- Handle complaints from customers and/or stores regarding processes
- Work directly with other departments to ensure processes are communicated and are not conflicting interdepartmentally
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a management capacity
- Previous installment loan servicing experience required
- Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Excellent Verbal Communication
- Excellent Written Communication
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to handle multi-channel interactions such as inbound phone calls, e-mail, and chat correspondence
- Excel skills strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask

- Ability to maintain knowledge of loan products and requirements
- Detail oriented
- Strong capability to work in a paperless environment
- Ability to direct and provide guidance for staff
