Credentialing Specialist Job at Snelling Staffing Services Mobile
Credentialing Specialist: We are recruiting a Credentialing Specialist for a local medical practice. The main function of this position will be managing all new hire providers and continued maintenance on current providers ensuring timely renewal of certifications, CEUs and manage credentials on a federal, state and local requirements. This permanent position has a Monday – Friday 8: AM – 5: PM schedule with a pay rate of $19-$25 per hour DOE and a benefits plan that includes 100% company paid employee health insurance and company matching 401K plan.
Credentialing Specialist Requirements:
1. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or equivalent
2. Proficient in Word, Excel, Office 365 and tracking software programs
3. Communicate clearing and succinctly with professional staff and subordinates
4. Insurance experience: organize enrollment drives
Credentialing Specialist Responsibilities:
1. Complete all provider insurance/enrollment accurately and timely
2. Work with contractual insurance vendors
3. Track DEA, License Renewal, NPI, CLIA and other required renewals
4. Continuously look for ways to improve the system
Requires criminal background check, drug test, assessments and former employer vetting
