NARA Northwest invites you to apply for our Covid Services/Data Assistant is an administrative support position which functions as a member of the medical services team responsible for supporting NARA’s COVID 19 testing and vaccination clinics. The Covid Services/Data Assistant is responsible for Covid-19 testing and vaccine support, data collection and project support. The position provides excellent customer service, ensures accurate information is given to patients, assists with patient screening, assists with set up, patient flow in the clinic and other medial related services.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Provide excellent customer service to the community members coming to testing and vaccination.
- Ensure strict adherence to Infection Prevention and Control, as well as PPE guidelines at all times.
- Assure PPE and other supplies are used appropriately, and supply chain is maintained to keep vaccination sites equipped to perform vaccination operations.
- Support the coordination of project and activities of the Covid-19 testing or vaccine event under the direction of the Covid Response Director.
- Assist with the physical set of testing and vaccination, preparing materials need for post testing and vaccine administration.
- Complete immunization care documenting vaccine dose. Provide to patient educational material on importance of maintaining vaccination card.
- Prescreen patients for any illness symptom prior to admission to vaccination site.
- Assist patients with completion of screening forms prior to receiving immunization.
- Prepare patient handouts. Write/edit correspondence for Covid-19 program material and/or information. Review and organize program documents.
- Review and identify data and reporting inconsistencies. Develop and implement data reporting and collection procedures. Assist in audits ensuring data integrity.
- Assist with community outreach efforts by attending after hours events and programs. Work after hours and weekends when required.
- Track impact of Covid 19 program in the community and for patients.
- Willingness to travel to other NARA sites as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPPA compliance at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree or equivalent education and training in a primary clinic, office administration, billing or data entry in a behavioral or medical field.
- Proficiency in MS Office; Windows, Excel, Word and other related office/business software.
- The ability to work independently as well as effective as a team member.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as represented in report writing and presentation of information.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients, the community, and other staff members.
