Job Summary
The courier is responsible for performing scheduled courier services for Texas First. The primary duty is to transport interoffice mail between banking centers, customers, and other locations, ensuring that items are properly sorted and delivered to the banking center locations promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
Responsibilities and Duties: Other duties may be assigned.
- As a visible representative of Texas First, excellent ability to operate company vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload the car with packages, containers, and bags.
- Sort items picked up and to be delivered according to the delivery route.
- Perform routine maintenance on company delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels and replenishing fuel.
- Maintenance includes changing light bulbs and marquees at various banking centers.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
- Must be able to stand, sit and drive for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Work 20-25 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, and be able to accommodate variations to the schedule within regular business hours as required.
