Job Description: Corporate Recruiter


Located in Westport, Connecticut; PetVet Care Centers is a nationwide veterinary network operating more than 465 general, specialty and emergency hospital with over 10,500 employees. Each location is managed locally and supported globally through our connected network. The Corporate Recruiter works within a dedicated team to apply cutting edge search techniques to identify, secure and retain talent across our Corporate and Regional Management teams


Core Tasks:

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to hire qualified talent across our corporate and regional teams
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize diverse channels to identify high-caliber candidates.
  • Screening and Selection: Evaluate candidate qualifications, conduct interviews, and assess professional and cultural fit
  • Employer Branding: Enhance the PetVet’s employer brand through marketing collaboration and social networking
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics for process improvement
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal recruitment practices and regulations.
  • Relationship Management: Foster connections with hiring managers and stakeholders across the business and demonstrate subject matter expertise in recruiting.
  • Administration: Conduct follow up communications via email or telephone with candidates during placement to ensure satisfaction, discuss future opportunities and resolve issues, in order to improve recruitment efficiency
  • Offer and Negotiation: at the onset of the screening process collect salary expectations and share ranges to make sure alignment in total compensation package. At the end of the process handle the offer negotiation, including offer letter creation and hire process to transfer candidate to onboarding

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred however we will consider several years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5-8 years of full cycle Staffing/Recruitment experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting across social media platforms.
  • Must have strong ability and experience with Microsoft Word & Excel, Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS a plus).
  • This is a Hybrid role with 3-4 days onsite in the Westport office.
