Holmen Cheese has an exceptional opportunity to join our growing team. We are looking for dedicated, hardworking team member to join our team as a cooker operator. In this role you will play a critial role in our operation to ensure we produce a safe and quality product for our customers. In addition to a higher starting wage we also offer a $1.50/hr shift differential.

What we will need you to do:

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Follow SOPs to ensure we produce a quality product
• Ability to troubleshoot and think on your feet
• Stand on concrete and/or platforms for majority of your shift
• Operate production equipment (training provided) as needed
• Follow all food safety standards including SQF and HACCP
• Ensure a clean work environment
• Climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms
• Bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of an entire shift
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• This work is physically demanding and can require the use of some or all body parts and muscle groups. Some positions may require repetitive overhead lifting up to 30 lbs, single lifting of heavy objects which can weigh up to 60 lbs, or lifting of objects using mechanical assistance.
• Additional essential functions may be applicable to specific jobs.

What we need from you:

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Flexibility as we stabilize our new operation.
