• NO LATE NIGHTS!! You will never be at the community past 7:30pm, no matter what shift.
• 6am - 2pm
• 11am-7pm

Job Summary

Provides food services for residents and employees.

Essential Functions

1. Regulates quality and quantity of food required; helps plan menus and controls food costs.

2. Prepares food (including sauces, cold foods, fish, soups and stocks, meats, vegetables, eggs and other food items) according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner.

3. Works closely with divisional dining services specialist and consults with dietitian when necessary to ensure meals meet the nutritional requirements of the residents.

4. Oversees the food preparation and cooking, to ensure meals are prepared according to company standards.

5. Makes frequent inspections of all work, storage, and serving areas to determine that regulations governing food safety and sanitation are followed.

6. Follows cleaning schedule, and production worksheet.

7. Maintains inventory of food and nonfood items.

8. Ensures safe work procedures are followed, to include those relating to, prevention, and infection control.

9. Full service knowledge and preparation ability of cooking all 3 meals served in a day.
