ABOUT OUR COOK ROLE
Our Cook prepares culinary delights for our guests whether in search of a lighter bite or a hearty meal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Plans, preps, sets up all areas of food production for menu items and specials
- Sets up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies
- Maintains organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Organize all prep items needed from different areas to ensure that all items are in place and ready for service.
- Prepare dishes in a timely fashion based on quality ingredients, standards and presentation
- Maintain and strictly abide by State sanitation/Health regulations and Hotel requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience as a Cook
- Food handling certificate
- Ability to communicate in English, verbal and written
- Compute basic arithmetic
- Ability to follow, expand and condense recipes
- A great smile, attitude and desire to work with an energetic team!
