Job Duties:
- Prepares and portions foods according to established recipes.
- Ensures compliance with food safety regulations.
- Lead kitchen staff in all aspects of food and dining services.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation.
- Ensure palatability, presentation, and resident satisfaction.
- Follow portion controls as dictated by menus and requirements.
- Complete required paperwork for quality of food and services.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
- Follows assigned break schedules; work weekends, evenings and holidays are required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work independently.
- Time management skills.
- Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Serve Safe Certification
- Prior culinary and/or food service experience required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- May be required work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen environmen
