Overview:
The Computer Operator V is responsible for IT Section, technical operation, support of internal computer systems / related peripheral equipment, applications and other operational tools, software and devices in support of the following areas; Materiel Maintenance, Supply and Services, Transportation and MDRS. CO V supports all the associated logistics analysis and management functions in support of the Fort Bragg, AFSB-n V2X/Vectrus IT Section mission. Areas of responsibility include computer operations, asset management, internal help desk support, report distribution, AFMIS request support. Analyzes and resolves hardware/software problems. Provides direct operational services and assistance across the program for operational issues and compliance requirements under the contract.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
- Performs analysis and resolves hardware/software issues.
- Acts as the IT Section POC and Computer Operations Coordinator in the functional area assigned. OPCON to the Program Management Office and is considered a Technical Expert. Will cross train to ensure full coverage and availability to move within the section.
- Process the AFMIS requests in system by creating/deleting and setting user access rights to personnel authorized to access the AFMIS system under user maintenance. Rights are requested, deleted, changed on an official unit memo with unit letterhead and dated/signed by the unit DFAC Manager.
- Ensures CD 07 Information Technology Equipment Inventory and Floor Plan, Tech Exhibit TE 1G-010 Inventory Management & TE 1G-011 Floor Plan are prepared, analyzed, documented and submitted in accordance with the contractual requirements. Update database and schematic of all automated data processing equipment (ADPE) on the V2X/VECTRUS contract worksite. This is to include computers, monitors, printers and the people assigned to these resources. This information will be recorded both on an Excel spreadsheet listing equipment and on a worksite schematic recorded on a PowerPoint.
- Prepares and requests all contractor email accounts, will ensure users receive initial training for CAC requirements and are alerted to the required maintenance training in ATCTS. Processes DD 2875 to the AFSBn-BRAGG IMO’s with follow ups to request accounts.
- Manage Army Tracking & Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) for the contracted/subcontracted personnel on Vectrus contract located at Fort Bragg, NC.
- Utilize (Theater Unified Ticketing System (TUTS) to submit request for new Active Directory account, deletion/reactivation or any issue computer that cannot be resolved by V2X/Vectrus IT Section.
- Contact (GOV Contracted MFD contractor) to order supplies/service for Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) by functional area. Maintain a copy on file on all service orders or supply requests.
- Prepares Purchase Requests (PRs) and submits to the IT Section Manager for any/all work area items requested.
- Reviews documentation for SOP’s and Work Instructions. Ensures updates and compliance issues are addressed.
- Performs and assists with other duties as assigned by the IT section Supervisor/Manager
- Must be able to read, write and understand SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Studies operating instructions to determine equipment setup needed. May be required to review and/or formulated SOP instructions for users to follow on Program.
- Verifiy with customers that issues have been resolved and updates the ticketing system can also verify issue resolution on customers' behalf.
- Move and hand receipt materials and assets from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areaas.
- Diagnose and corrects equipment malfunctions over phone or in person.
- Review error messages and makes corrections during operations or refers problems.
- Maintains operatings records for complaince requirements.
- Drives vehicle to transport and pickup assests in mutiple locations or verify equipment locations.
- Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
- Computers, Fax, Copier, Printer, Multi-Function Device (MFD) Multi-line Phones, Cell Phone, Radio, Personal computer systems, Microsoft Office programs, any other pertinent software and general office equipment.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas.
- Use of Government Furnished vehicle.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is generally conducted in a work center administrative environment. However, duties occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes but is not limited to hard hat, Steel toes boots (must have on first day) , eye protection and hearing protective devices.
- Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
- Functions in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50 percent of the time or more.
- Work may be required to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
- Physical requirements include; good eyesight for identifying small serial numbers on equipment, lifting, stooping, balancing, kneel, crouch, crawl, climbing and prolonged standing and/or sitting.
- May perform work in conditions of inclement weather, extreme heat and cold, high/low humidity, blowing sand and dust, and working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Employee uses of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, face mask that covers the nose and mouth is required.
- Perform other duties as required that may involve working overtime, weekends, flexible hours and holidays.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Microsoft Project.
- Valid State driver’s license.
- Must successfully pass a NACI background investigation.
- Must be eligible for issues and possession of a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Specific contractual requirements regarding education and experience prevail where applicable.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work well under pressure and around tight deadlines.
- Must have organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
- 1-year of related job experience, preferred.
- Effective organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Six months administrative background within an office setting (multi-functional work environment).

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENT:
- To be qualified for this position you must comply with the government customer’s requirement that you either provide proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC, or agree to undergo and provide results of weekly COVID-19 testing.
- As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered.
