Willis HR Consulting is recruiting for a client located in Orangeburg, SC.
Job Purpose:
The Compliance Director (CD) directs the day-to-day operation, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO). The CD has indirect responsibility for the coordination and provision of services to family violence, sexual assault, and child abuse victims, and their families; staff supervision and development; adherence to all grand and contract guidelines. Delegation of duties as appropriate; appraising the COO of routine operations and critical incidents; and other related administrative and supervisory responsibilities as assigned. Will have direct supervision over the Business Manager and Community Advocacy and Outreach staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Partner with the COO to ensure the overall organizational goals regarding client services goals and outreach objectives are met
· Ensure the achievement of goals, objectives, and documentation requirements of all grants/contracts and adherence to grant/contract guidelines
· Assist with long-range program planning, periodic review of agency policies to include job descriptions for agency personnel
· Ensure quality service provision in all program areas
· Ensure provision of guidance, supervision, evaluation, and staff development
· Prepare regular reports regarding overall agency functioning, identifying strengths and needs, per agreed upon format and timelines
· Maintain knowledge of current research information regarding legal, medical, psychological, and other areas related to family violence, sexual assault, child abuse and crisis services
· Help support the COO with media as directed
· Plan regularly scheduled meetings to allow for opportunity to share/receive pertinent information regarding work related concerns
· Maintain contact with other local, state and national agencies to gather and share information
· Assist with creating and engaging visuals that convey complex information to a variety of audiences and readers
· Manages and monitors web page design, maintenance, and content, as well as all our clients social media platforms
· Researches and collects information to compose informed promotional pieces, reports, and articles
· Ensuring integrity of communications by maintaining the organization’s mission, vision, identity, brand, and standards
· Remain active in the community, to lead recruiting efforts for potential volunteer and intern staff members for the Organization
· Develop and distributes community outreach initiatives such as speaking engagements
· Lead outreach and training initiatives to educate community members on sexual assault, domestic violence, and our clients purpose, goals, and activities
· Facilitate and plan supplemental and mandatory training for staff members and potential volunteers of the organization
· Effectively maintain the internship and volunteer program of the organization
· Participate in the development and implementation of short and long-term organizational and strategic planning as a member of the leadership team
· Ensure that plans, goals, and objectives are instilled and adhered to throughout our clients, programs, services, and work
· Lead and participate in regular staff meetings and supervisory sessions
· Work collaboratively on the development of materials related to department and agency efforts
· Prepare and submit monthly reports
· Other duties as assigned and/or as determined
Required Qualifications:
· Must have a master’s degree in Social Work or related field and four (4) years of program management and five (5) years of supervisory experience
· Experience with budgeting and managing all aspects of financing for an organization
· Must have strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Zoom
· Knowledge of socio/cultural dynamics of victimization
· Must possess a valid driver’s license, adequate insurance, and an automobile which is available during working hours
· Must pass a comprehensive background check
· Experience with writing grants

Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Occasionally move/transport items for awareness events – 15 pounds or more
· Occasionally ascends/descends stairs
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Leads and participates in the hiring and training of key team members
· Organizes and oversees the work and schedules for reporting departmental managers/team members
· Conducts feedback discussions that are timely and constructive
· Partners with the COO to address any discipline and/or termination of staff as needed and in accordance with organization policy
Direct oversees case management and workflow of, and meets on a regular basis with:
· Community Educators and Advocacy Program
· Business Manager and Administrative Assistant
