Full-time Company Transportation Driver /Warehouse Maintenance Worker

Our company is looking for an individual to work half of the time as a company driver and the other half of the time as a warehouse worker. In this role you will be working directly with the Maintenance Manager.

Designer Greetings is looking to hire a Company Transportation Driver /Warehouse Maintenance/Worker that practices safety, time management, detail oriented, understands routes and directions, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills . The individual also has to be reliable, able to perform general maintenance as needed, perform minor repairs and odd jobs, as well as assist in the warehouse where needed.

The individual should be able to work independently and with teams. They should possess problem-solving skills, physical ability, offer flexibility and versatility and advance skills are a plus.

This position in interchangeable – hybrid modes 50%-70%

As a Company Driver you will be responsible for

Ø transporting individuals or materials in a timely manner from different locations.

Ø Possible assisting loading or unloading cargo

Ø Obeying and following all traffic laws

Ø Securing cargo properly

Ø Ensuring safety at all times

Ø Interacting with all individuals in a professional manner

As a Warehouse Maintenance/Worker you will be asked to work

Ø as a material handler, picker, lifting boxes, as well as maintenance janitorial odd jobs as needed

Ø Understand the layout of the warehouse

Ø Work closely with warehouse staff to pick and process orders

Ø Pick up and move items as needed

Ø Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment

Ø Handle necessary repairs and maintenance

Ø Perform minor fixes and cleaning activities as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

Ø Ability to follow instructions from management

Ø Knowledge of general maintenance

Ø Excellent organizational and time management skills

Education and Experience

Ø High school diploma or certificate trade school

Ø Related experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Ø Prolonged standing, walking, sitting or equivalent

Ø Must be physically able to climb, crawl, bend, and in good health

Ø Must be able to lift 50 pounds or heavier at times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
