Brookhaven at Lexington, a prestigious, private retirement community in Lexington MA is currently seeking a Community Living Programming and Services Coordinator to assist in planning and coordination of programming for Independent Living and Assisted Care.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, and some weekends & holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Director of Community Living with all aspects of resident programming and service delivery.
- Work with Committees Chairs and Interest Groups as directed.
- Schedule all Committees and Interest groups meetings in the calendar.
- Work with CL Administrative Assistant to keep Programming bulletin boards up to date.
- Assist Community Living team in the monthly production of the Events Calendar.
- Host assigned resident events including evening and weekends.
- Assist Director of Community Living with processing of program performers and lecturers, and event setup. Assist with administrative duties including work orders and check requests.
- Take a lead role in managing registration of all events and functions.
- Coordinate and implement logistics for memorial services including room reservations, AV & room setup, and resident communication in conjunction with Dining Services.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in creating programming in a senior living setting preferred
- Experience with audio-visual equipment including streaming services, zoom, & performance lighting
- Strong customer service skills
