Community/Education Specialist Job at Noble Federal Credit Union
Summary: Responsible for outreach activities to enhance and increase Noble Credit Union’s reputation. Responsible for managing Noble Credit Union’s financial education program and the employee volunteer program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and actively participate in trade shows and community events.
Develop relationships with community representatives and organizations to enhance Noble’s image and reputation.
Plan, coordinate, and actively participate in Noble’s financial education program. This includes scheduling classes and seminars, developing educational content/presentations, presenting classes, and managing Noble’s online financial education platforms.
Create video financial tips to be used on various platforms such as on social media, the website, and in presentations.
Manage sponsorship, donation, and scholarship requests.
Manage the Credit Union employee volunteer program.
Ensure all material and communications are within brand and compliance guidelines.
Monitor, analyze, and report activities and results as directed by the Supervisor.
Ability to perform other Marketing Department duties as assigned.
Exercise awareness in regard to suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior as it relates to cash transactions and overall transaction activity and document and any such behavior so SAR filings can be considered.
Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and compliance programs including but not limited to BSA, AML, OFAC, Branch Security and Safety.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or university; two to four years’ related experience in developing and presenting educational content with regularity in group situations and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Must be able to host virtual meetings/webinars. Credit union or financial institution experience preferred. Spanish speaking preferred. Must be available to regularly work evenings and weekends.
