Commercial Sewing Room-LEAD Job at Baby Barrier Pool Fence Co.
We are in need of a department head in our sewing room operation. This position would be in charge of 1-2 employee's production and accuracy.
Taking raw materials such as vinyl-coated mesh and cutting rolls down to appropriate size. Then sewing a border on tops and bottoms of long runs of material, cutting long runs to appropriate size sections of fence, then in-seaming ends to finish off product for assembly. Must be a quick learner that can keep up with an intermediate pace of cutting and sewing. Position is about 50% standing, 50% sitting.
Immediate full time (40 hrs) opening for a person with tenured sewing competency. Will be using a JUKI double needle commercial machine. Reliable daily attendance is a must. Also, must have attention to detail while reading work orders and measuring sections to precise lengths and heights.
