Commercial Real Estate Transaction Administrator Job at Principal Financial Group
Here are a few examples of the types of things you'll do:
- Assist in the administration of legal documentation for equity client portfolios
- Assist with the development of an internal due diligence website (Box.com) to index due diligence information for acquisition/disposition/development commercial real estate transactions.
- Assist the Senior Acquisitions Consultant by requesting, reviewing, analyzing and organizing to ensure completeness, and monitoring the status and access to confidential due diligence information Communicate, coordinate and follow-up with internal and external clients/consultants to ensure stringent transaction deadlines are met.
- Assist Senior Acquisitions Consultant in the preparation of closing documents, verification of signature blocks, and closing correspondence with local counsel and escrow.
- Assist Senior Acquisitions Consultant in obtaining quotes and appropriately order title and survey for acquisitions and dispositions. Follow-up on details to ensure tight deadlines are met.
- Manage the transaction Due Diligence process by maintaining the data integrity/security by access controls, monitoring the final Closing & Post-Closing documentation and electronically filing (Onbase) the final transaction closing documents for record retention.
- Send confidentiality agreements to brokers, coordinate legal review on any language changes to internal legal and finalize confidential agreements with Acquisition Director/Manager. Monitor prompt good communication with all stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or Associates preferred, High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of job related experience
- Must be able to work efficiently, be results oriented and exhibit attention to detail and accuracy
- Good oral and written communication skills and PC experience
- Knowledge of commercial loans/real estate beneficial but not necessary
- Good organizational skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines and work with multiple competing priorities.
