Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Service Estimator Job at Lima Company
Lima Company is currently seeking a Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Service Estimator, who will be responsible for preparing service proposals from field leads generated.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of thorough, accurate, and detailed cost estimates
- Preparation of proposal documents and development of written proposals and correspondence
- Work with purchasing to obtain prices from vendors by specifying material needs
- Obtain any submittals, O&M documents and warranties as needed
- Work closely between Division Field Managers and Sales to secure service and install work

Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in HVAC/Plumbing Estimating
- Ability to work effectively in high pressure, multitasking environment, drive projects forward and meet or exceed deadlines and margin
- Ability to manage duties in a timely manner and be able to work independently
- Skills needed include organization, document management, leadership, and problem solving
- Be computer literate (MS Outlook Email, Excel, Word)
Strong verbal and written communications skills - Maintain a professional approach, tact, and courtesy when dealing with clients, vendors, and team members
- Demonstrate honest and ethical behavior in business relationships and transactions
