Atlas Networks is seeking a Commercial Network Technician who has a positive attitude, ability to problem solve, and is highly customer service oriented. A solid work ethic with an emphasis on quality workmanship and organization is also a must. This role is required to work both independently and as part a team. Candidate must be able to lift and carry upwards of 50lbs, climb ladders, and work at various heights while successfully performing job duties. This role spends time working on rooftops in occasionally adverse weather conditions. The candidate will be required to work at various job sites, both indoors and outdoors, while being exposed to various weather conditions here in the Pacific Northwest. Candidates must have the ability to pull wire, use common hand tools, terminate Ethernet/Coax cabling, and operate power tools. Fiber cabling experience a bonus. This position is full time with an excellent growth potential.
The duties of this job require a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy. Drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results that meet these established criteria are necessary for successful job performance. While the pace of the work is faster than average, quality is never compromised. The work requires specialized technical problem solving and ingenuity while working within approved organizational systems and technology. New ideas and concepts are also important but will be carefully analyzed and tested before communication and adoption. The position encompasses a defined span of control and opportunity for someone who engenders trust, demonstrates a sense of urgency and assures consistent achievement of quality standards.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Customer infrastructure, router, and wireless equipment installations
  • Low Voltage Cabling rough-in and termination.
  • Low Voltage Cabling testing and documentation.
  • Build-out of MDF and IDF (racks, patch panels, wire managers, network electronics, etc.).
  • MPOE and CPE integration, cutover and connection within building demarcation point.
  • Installation and on-site configuration/setup of equipment including radios, routers & switches, security cameras, etc.
  • 06 License preferred but not required.
  • Additional duties that may be assigned by management as part of the day to day operations of the company.

PAY RANGE:
$20.00 - $25.00 an hour
