Strategically route resources in an efficient manner to provide exemplary customer service, utilizing a variety of tools. Responsible for efficiently routing resources to provide outstanding customer service
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for efficiently routing resources to provide outstanding customer service
Review and evaluate incoming work orders, determine both the level of priority and the most efficient routing, in order to provide optimal customer service levels
Obtain knowledge (and confidence) to identify routing issues and determine the best solution
Ability to analyze a geographic area to sync and balance customer services and frequencies
Review past due service reports, communicate information, and plan with Department Manager and Operations Analyst
Ability to learn and utilize multiple platforms to effectively route resources; RoadNet, STARS, IRIS, PeopleNet
Obtain knowledge in function-specific activities associated with STARS program. Strategically sync and balance areas, complete traceroutes, complete product sync and forecast upcoming weeks
Obtain knowledge in function-specific activities associated with RoadNet software. Review and adjust routes to maximize customer service and efficiency
Obtain knowledge in function-specific activities as related to IRIS program. Validation process, upload routes to mobile app, creating, adjusting and closing work orders, running reports
Obtain knowledge in function-specific activities as related to PeopleNet software. ELD logs, GPS report and various other reports, mapping truck trails, and DOT hours
Accurately complete daily load sheets when routing for box department. Able to understand truck capacity to load and formulate weights per load
Accurately compute weights of solids versus liquids in relation to truck capacity when routing for Industrial Services
Provide timely communication with driving team on upcoming routes via telephone, email, and text
Knowledgeable in DOT HOS Regulations, OSHA Regulations, EHS Standards
Effectively communicate and interact professionally with both internal and external customers to best meet the customers’ needs and the requirements of the company
Support a variety of departments that provide unique services and equipment
Review driver itineraries upon completion of route, provide reports for Department Manager and Operations Analyst. Discuss discrepancies in hours assigned versus hours worked with drivers
Ability to learn functions and general mechanics of various rolling stock to more effectively route equipment and drivers
Willingness to observe jobs specific activities first hand for better understanding of routed activities
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills, Experience, and/or Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Routing or logistics experience preferred
Understanding of the transportation industry and DOT regulations as they pertain to drivers
Ability to accurately read and interpret maps
Knowledge of geography within our footprint
Strong math and analytical skills required
Strong problem solving and organizational skills required
Strong memory skills required
Attention to detail required
Display effective communication skills to resolve issues with customers and drivers
Proficiency in e-mail, Excel and Word required
Accuracy in data entry required
Ability to learn advanced computer skills including UPS Logistics, PeopleNet, Noble Oil’s Database, etc.
Ability to learn varied tasks and company operations in a fast-paced environment
Regular office attendance required

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
