This team member is responsible for resolving overdue bills and collecting payments from the business or individuals responsible for them.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
• Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to collect the overdue amount.
• Use internet searches and other tools to try and locate customers who have moved or changed phone numbers.
• Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payment collected from the customer.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.
• Submit statements to customers on a monthly or as-needed basis.
• Report the status of unpaid accounts and any payment progress to management.

SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of collections experience
• Good listening and communications skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Project a positive and professional image/attitude while interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner

• This position is based out of Wheelers corporate branch location

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours a week) Monday Friday

Compensation: Competitive pay; on average starting around $21+/hr. based on individual skill sets and experience
