Vac2Go is hiring a Billing & Collections Specialist for their Accounting team as a full-time job in Louisville, KY.
As a Billing & Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for the work flow from new customers set up through collection of accounts. Additionally, you are in charge of all billing activities, as well as observing accounts to identify overdue payments, report collection activity, address client queries, and develop repayment plans,
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, Vac2Go is a provider of mission-critical equipment to industrial, utility, and municipal customers. Vac2Go offers daily to multi-month rentals of the latest model trucks and equipment to industrial service contractors, environmental contractors, the construction, excavation, and utility industries, and to state and local municipal governments. Additionally, Vac2Go provides repair and maintenance services for vacuum trucks and related equipment at all its facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up new customers and obtain necessary paperwork including master lease agreement and certificates of insurance
Oversee and ensure accuracy of billing and collections processes
Implement and maintain effective billing and collections policies and procedures
Issue invoices to clients
Oversee all monthly payments and refunds
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3 years experience, or a minimum of 5 years of experience and an associates degree
Strong understanding of billing and collection processes in a high volume environment
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Highly skilled in negotiation
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
