Island is seeking an experienced CNC Operator based out of our Calverton, NY factories. This position reports to the shop Foreman.
Essential Functions
- Load and unload raw materials and equipment.
- Set up and calibrate accessories and equipment.
- Keep detailed records for equipment and procedures.
- Perform necessary maintenance and cleaning on equipment.
- Supervise machines as they run and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required specifications.
- Abide by company safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma
- 2+ years of CNC Operator experience preferred but not required
- Construction/ Manufacturing background is a plus!
- Valid Drivers License required
- Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work on a laptop/ computer for an extended period of time
- Ability to work in an enviroment with a high noise level
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
