Job Summary:
Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. With an aging society, obesity and diabetes on the rise, and an uptick in surgical procedures, the number of patients with non-healing wounds that would benefit from expert care is dramatically increasing. As a result, the company is working to provide our differentiated, quality outcomes to as many patients that would benefit through our out-patient clinic partnerships.
The Clinical Consultant drives clinical and operational improvement support to underperforming centers. In consulting with the local team and externally with the customer, they assess, diagnose, recommend and assist with or implement, as required, an action plan to improve center performance. Additionally, they will work to integrate lessons learned and process improvements into core areas for learnings and adoption across the organization.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC CONSULTING
- Drives Process Excellence within the Wound Care Center through the assessment, recommendation and potential implementation of action plans designed to address gaps actively impacting results for our patients and hospital partners, resulting in increased center performance.
- Consults with Healogics Territory and Center leadership teams as internal customers to recommend action plans driven by Calcutta reporting analysis and specific need to increase center level outcomes.
- Manages consulting engagements to be fully scoped and staffed with defined start and end dates including clear deliverables agreed to by the internal customer at end of engagement.
- Performs on-site assessments to validate data and assess leadership to inform gap analysis and related recommendations.
- Identifies resources needed to make recommended changes by partnering with Division level and Home Office support resources.
- Identifies opportunities within field leadership and makes recommendations on resources to increase knowledge of business area needed
- Performs other duties as required.
CLINICAL CONSULTING
- Creates Exceptional Patient Experiences through process improvement into core clinical areas of center level operations and ensures patient access through recommendations of key levers for improvement.
- Champions clinical initiatives and scales clinical implementations efficiently and effectively.
- Identifies clinical gaps impacting quality results for our patients and hospital partners and uses expertise to make recommendations for closing diagnosed gaps.
- Partners with local team to create and potentially implement education plans to meet the individualized needs of the clinical team using data driven clinical processes designed to increase Comprehensive Healing Rates.
Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or LPN license to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in this position
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Min seven (7)+ years of progressive strategic consulting experience in clinical operations in the healthcare industry required
- Demonstrated results in center optimization and sustained results

Salary for this position generally ranges between $87400 - $97900 / year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
