Clinic: Behavioral Health Consultant (WA State LICSW Required) Job at Columbia County Health System
This talented team of patient-centered Providers and support staff works seamlessly to ensure our patients receive answers and a plan of action that works best for them. They are actively seeking team members with the confidence to work independently and as a contributing member of the team. Team members must possess a willingness to listen and the ability to maintain a positive demeanor while communicating clearly with patients, staff, and the public.
What You Will Own and Improve in the Role
- Facilitate treatment plan modifications in consultation with the PCP and the psychiatric consultant
- Provide evidence-based treatments appropriate to the primary care setting
- Provide patient skill training through psychoeducation about common mental health and substance abuse disorders along with education about available treatment options
- Monitor patients (in person, via video telehealth or by telephone) for changes in symptoms and treatment side effects

To Be Successful
2 years of experience providing evidence-based treatments to various patient populations and a valid Washington State Social Worker Independent Clinical License (LICSW) is required.
SUD and /or peds with SUD is preferred.
Wages are determined on experience, education, and licensure.
