Gould Asset Management is seeking an experienced professional for a full-time position as a Client Service Associate (CSA). The CSA will handle a variety of responsibilities including investment operations and client relationship management. The successful candidate will make clients feel cared for, will be able to solve complex problems, and will act in a support role to senior client service staff. This is a client facing role, so we are looking for someone who is highly personable and able to work with a wide variety of clients and personalities. This is a full-time in-office position with the potential for one day per week of work from home.
What you’ll be doing:
Investment Operations
- Work with clients, advisors, and broker-dealer custodians in responding to client service requests quickly and with as little disruption to the client as possible
- Prepare and process client account paperwork and track open items with the utmost attention to detail
- Facilitate transfers of funds and securities
- Research and resolve complex client account-related problems
- Maintain client records and document account activities in CRM system (Salesforce)
- Reconcile daily cash flow information
- Prepare regular firm-wide and client reports
Client Relationship Management
- Build trust and maintain a professional rapport with clients
- Act as clients’ primary contact and keep them updated on outstanding service requests
- Regularly check in with clients via phone, e-mail, and/or in-person meetings
- Work with clients’ accountants and attorneys on tax and legal issues
- Manage inbound calls and emails from clients and custodians
What we’re looking for:
- Absolute integrity and respect for confidentiality of client matters
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper email etiquette
- Efficient time management and strong multi-tasking skills
- Experience working at a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) or broker-dealer custodian a plus; some level of financial fluency a must
- Strong PC skills, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook, and cloud-based applications
- Experience with Salesforce, DocuSign, and/or Tamarac a plus; ability to quickly learn new software a must
- Friendly and professional attitude and demeanor
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and take initiative
- Notary public a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required
