Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH), located in Blair, Nebraska, is seeking a Clerk Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Emergency Department team working casual/as needed. Shifts are 12 hours, 6:00-6:30.

Job Summary
- Clerks will initiate the admission process of clients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Demonstrate knowledge of outpatient registration process.
- Notify nursing and medical staff of emergent medical needs as directed.
- Interviews patients or their representatives and complete associated data entry to ensure a complete and accurate registration.
- Maintains accurate ED patient information and maintain ED log data entry.
- Assists with care of emergent and non-emergent patients under the direct supervision of the ED nurse and providers while practicing within the stated guidelines of a CNA in the State of Nebraska.
- Answers phones and directs visitors.
- Greets all patients, visitors and staff to the department in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
- Requirements: High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have a current Certified Nursing Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician license in the state of Nebraska.
- Current BLS certification required.
