Old Mission Peninsula School is searching for a Classroom Aide.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet a rigorous standard of quality and demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment:
- Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in, instructing reading, writing, and mathematics;
- Knowledge of, and the ability to assist in, instructing reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate.
- Criminal background check including fingerprinting required
- Unprofessional Conduct Check from current/most recent employer
Demonstrate ability to communicate and work effectively and collaboratively with professional peers and parents, adapt and plan for individual student needs and learning styles, and to evaluate, measure, and monitor various forms of assessments and data.
Reports To: School Principals
Responsibilities - Under Direction of the School Principals:
- To provide students with age and grade appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject areas.
- To conduct ongoing assessment of student work and progress monitor student growth.
- Record grades, report attendance, and access educational materials
