Classic Car Shop Helper - Full or Part Time Job at PRO-SPEED Autoworks
Pro-Speed Autoworks is searching for an Entry Level Auto Shop Helper with some practical experience and interest in working on older cars. We specialize in building, repairing and restoring classic American cars and trucks. Ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands on experience working in a shop, owns some tools, has a valid drivers license and clean driving record. This is great opportunity for someone looking to become a technician.
IMPORTANT:
Punctuality, Customer Service and Strong Communication are all required skills
Job Duties Include:
- Moving and organizing cars
- General shop cleaning and organization (includes sweeping floors and dumping trash)
- Run various errands such as picking up and dropping off parts
- Assisting more senior technicians with various mechanical jobs
- Handling small mechanical jobs on your own as experience and skills allow
This is an entry level position but performance will be evaluated constantly and periodically for potential compensation upgrades.
- The shop hours are 8am to 5pm Monday-Friday.
- One hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks.
- Pay is hourly and depends on experience
