ARCO Excavation and Paving is looking for a Class A CDL Driver to join our team. All applicants must have the following:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current medical card
• must be able to comply with DOT requirements
• work independently as well as take direction
• Clean driving record
• 3 years minimum driving experience
• All references will be checked prior to employment
• Must comply to mandatory DOT Pre-Employment and Random Drug Screens
• Immediate Opening

Applicant must have the ability to:

• Learn, understand and apply pertinent rules, regulations, and County policies and procedures.
• The applicant must be able to understand and follow directions and safety regulations, written and oral, in English.
• Safely operate and maintain assigned equipment and tools.
• Read and write at a level required for successful job performance.
• Maintain accurate work records.
• Perform required mathematical computations with accuracy.
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
• Meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties.

Physical Requirements:

Requires the mobility to perform office and vehicle maintenance duties. Requires the ability to drive, sit and intermittently walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach while performing driving, loading/unloading load duties, office duties and/or maintenance work; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools and controls. Must be able to maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading and writing, and operating vehicle, office and maintenance equipment. Must be able to use a telephone to communicate verbally and a keyboard to communicate through written means, to review information and enter/retrieve data, to see and read characters on a computer screen.
