VN Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Inspector for a project located in located on I-95 in Groton and Stonington, CT.

Responsibilities will include inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications, contract administration, reporting daily progress, tracking and documenting quantities of work performed, resolving construction problems and challenges in the field and other oversight responsibilities as assigned.

Candidates must have at least two years of related experience (CTDOT experience preferred), along with a NICET II certification or Bachelor s degree in Engineering. They should carry their ATSSA TCS and NETTCP Paving Inspector certifications or be able to pass the class. Candidates must be reliable and have strong written and oral communication skills. Candidate must also be able to work nights and weekends.
