Position Summary:

As the Chiropractic Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in retaining long-term quality patients for the clinic through the execution of service delivery systems, so the patient’s needs, and expectations are exceeded. You will be assisting a chiropractor with delivering care and completing administrative duties in our fast-paced clinic. As a Chiropractic Assistant, it will be required that you have a high level of interaction with others as well as participate in educating the patients.

Performance Objectives:

• Preform Rehab exercises, stretching, etc. with patients.
• Monitoring patients progress on exercises. Documenting all information for medical necessity purposes.
• Self-supervision and dedication are a must.

· Must enjoy providing hands on therapy work with patients of all ages.

· Complete patient vitals, obtain and document the patient history, and update patient information in the chart/ EMR.

· Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records according to HIPPA guidelines.

· Restock exam rooms, perform cleaning routine and manage supplies to keep inventory current.

· Ability to read and interpret medical orders/protocols and diagnostic test results with supervisor.

· Take quick action in handling and resolving complex patient matters.

· Ensure seamless, efficient patient flow on the medical side by working with the team.

· Reliably keep a clear line of communication with the provider to deliver feedback and the progress of the patient treatment plan.

· Educate the patient on the services provided in the clinic.

· Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude

Education & Experience:

· Training is available but 1 year of therapy assisting would be preferred.

· Chiropractic Assistant, on the job training and support with obtaining certification.

· 1-2 years’ experience in a multi-physician practice preferred, but not required.
