SUMMARY
Directs the planning and provision of the Children's, Youth and Family Service Programs. Under minimal supervision, supervises and directs client services by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides day to day supervision and oversight for the Children’s Program for all staff including therapists, case managers, care coordinators, and CRSS assigned to the children’s, youth and family programs. Coordinates all needed services.
- Communicates with agency Clinical Director and/or Associate Clinical Director for program needs.
- Oversees grant management as well as new grant proposals. Demonstrates the ability to oversee multiple programs.
- Oversees program budget and works closely with Finance Office.
- Develops and implements written program goals, strategic planning, identifies best practice tools and assessments, and outcome criteria that guides and supports the provision of these programs.
- Ensures program outcomes meet and/or exceed state standards (ppmr measures).
- Utilizes the philosophy of Collaborative/Therapeutic Documentation to meet clinical record keeping documentation standards and ensure documentation is completed with the Consumer to the extent possible and all documentation is completed on the same day of the date of service.
- Directs the activities and services of the Children’s, Youth and Family Program and provides linkage and coordination within the agency and with other service providers outside of agency.
- Develops and implements written program goals and outcome criteria that guide and support the operation of the programs. Works to ensure best practices are utilized within all programs. Ensures staff are trained in best practice services.
- Develops systems to enhance program goals and promote successful practices.
- Ensures staff are meeting job performance expectations as outlined. Performs annual performance measurements on staff.
- Participates in the hiring of program staff. Participates in potential disciplinary actions.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with community including schools, law enforcement, funding sources, and other community stakeholders.
- Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with supervisors and peers, and develops integrated services provisions with other programs (outreach).
- Ensures program adheres to agency policies and procedures, CARF and DMHSAS standards and criteria, federal and state confidentiality rules and regulations, and any special funding source requirements.
- Responsible for program development and grant coordination of children, youth and family programs. Works to expand and enhance all programs.
- Provides training, guidance and supervision to agency employees for service enhancement and core competency skill building.
- Develops and maintains a working relationship with community partners, building partnerships and referral resources for consumers in need of primary care and behavioral health care supports.
- Responsible for Planning and supervising Health Home and wellness prevention community activities.
- Develops Memorandum of Understanding and collaborative agreements with health partners including hospitals, clinics, and urgent care providers.
- Ensure that communication between staff, clients, and community partners occurs in a timely fashion. Ensure that core primary care and behavioral health services are delivered in a coordinated and comprehensive manner.
- Tracks and monitors the enrollment of clients, changes in treatment, discharges from the Healthy Choices at HOPE Program and transfers to agency programs or services or other providers in the community.
- Monitors and coordinates the use of Health Information Technology (HIT) used by staff to coordinate and track client care and services.
- Supervises youth and children health home team.
- Supports and promotes a service environment for individual in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives. Attends annual core competencies training in relationship to individuals with co-occurring disorders or who have experienced trauma in their lives.
- Monitors and approves, as appropriate, staff time sheets/invoices, leave requests, schedules, travel, and performance related to program requirements and goals.
- Participates in leadership team meetings and facilitates team meetings to establish agency wide communication and coordination of programs.
- Responsible for on-going knowledge of the course of treatment, needs, and special issues of program clients and special populations.
- May be required to work evening or weekend hours.
- May be required to provide services in a community setting.
- May be required to provide client transportation by using personal vehicle or agency owned van or small bus.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises daily operations and staff providing services within Children, Youth and Family Programs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, orientation and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Current license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.) in Oklahoma; or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field and eligible for licensure supervision.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Professional license is preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.); Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field and eligible for licensure supervision.
Required to complete, Therapeutic Options, or approved safety training and annual updates.
May be required to obtain and maintain First Aid and/or CPR Certifications.
In order to provide client transportation in private or agency vehicles, must possess current, valid Oklahoma license, and meet HOPE insurance requirements. HOPE will annually obtain copy of Motor Vehicle Record from the Department of Public Safety.
