Summary
Join a team of teachers that provide care and developing activities to children in a positive, safe, and faith-based environment.
Duties
As assistant teacher/floater is responsible for helping the teachers manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom and the center. This includes helping with children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment that actively engages and encourages the children to succeed.
Optional- Help with afternoon bus routes; Part time or Full time options
Requirements
18+ yrs old
High School Diploma or GED
Pass Background Check
Pass Health Screening
MUST be available to work to 6 PM
Nice To Haves
Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
A strong understanding of child development.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Clean driving record
