Chief People and Culture Officer Job at Perrett Laver
HIAS stands for a world in which refugees find welcome, safety, and opportunity. Drawing on our Jewish values and hundred-year history, HIAS works around the globe to provide vital services to refugees and asylum seekers around the world and advocates for their fundamental rights so they can rebuild their lives. We are a learning community, committed to diversity and inclusion, and we do our work with integrity, accountability, transparency, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.
HIAS has grown rapidly around the world in recent years, extending our reach and amplifying our impact, and we are now seeking a Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO). This is a new position on the HIAS Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and a great opportunity for a proven professional who is passionate about growing the capabilities of people and teams and optimizing how we work together in an international setting. The role will direct and oversee human resources; administration; diversity, equity, inclusion & justice (DEIJ); organizational culture; and safety & security in alignment with HIAS’ mission, values and strategic goals.
While its responsibilities are global, the position is full-time and is based at HIAS’ world headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland (currently, executive level staff based in Silver Spring operate on a hybrid model, with presence in the office required for part of each week). HIAS is partnering with the executive search firm Perrett Laver on this appointment. To apply, please submit a CV and covering letter detailing how you fulfil the role description and personal specification. The deadline for applications is Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at midnight EST.
