Chief Integrated Care Officer - Summary
NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Chief Integrated Care Officer to join its Executive Leadership team. This position reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for leading the day to day management, interdepartmental communication, and coordination of services to ensure the integration of behavioral healthcare and primary care services. The Chief Integrated Care Officer must be a highly motivated, mission-driven, and collaborative professional. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about building systems, processes, and teams that will enable NorthKey Community Care to provide exceptional care. This position will be integral in advancing our efforts to become a Federally Qualfied Healthcare Center (FQHC) look-alike, and the successful candidate will have experience within an FQHC and/or FQHC look-alike organization.

Chief Integrated Care Officer - Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate degree in relevant field of study.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in a progressive leadership role within a healthcare organization.
- Experience within a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC) and/or FQHC look-alike.
- Experience with Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) application process and grants.
- Experience with Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grants.
- Demonstrated leadership in the overall improvement of financial and operational performance of a healthcare organization.
- Successful track record of redesigning practice management systems and aligning service lines to diminish silos and help improve the performance across clinical service lines.
- Experience with IT systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Successful track record of acting as a change agent within an organization.
- Strong business acumen, quality, and metrics orientation.
- Financially astute and highly experienced in using, developing, and implementing benchmarks and other tools that improve operating, financial, and service performance.
- Exceptional professional relations skills and experience working collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience presenting strategies and recommendations to the board of directors and leadership.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communications kills.
Chief Integrated Care Officer - Job Duties
- Provides operational oversight and participates in the development and implementation of the mission, vision, and values of the company, including the delivery of high quality, patient focused healthcare.
- Partners with other senior leaders to ensure effective and efficient operations and workflows.
- Participates in the establishment, implementation, and application of organizational policies and procedures.
- Resolves operational problems including those related to staffing, workflows, facilities, equipment, etc.
- Develops and fosters effective collaboration between clinical departments, divisions, and management to ensure an integrated approach to providing services, while effectively carrying out the organization's strategic plan.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop and operationalize new business strategies.
- Effectively serves as a resource to the CEO to help reduce costs, enhance revenues, and support the vision of integrated care.
- Collaborates and communicates key information to the stakeholders, partnerships, and networks.
- Maintains a culture of trust between administration and providers.
- Empowers employees at all levels to be innovative and action-oriented while advancing a culture of accountability and respect.
- Evaluates and improves current practice operations, policies, and processes while identifying opportunities to standardize clinical operations and integration across the organization.
