Job Summary: The Chart Pre-load Nurse will assist with optimizing Floyd County Medical Center’s new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system by pulling forward key clinical information from paper health records, such as vital signs, past medical history, past surgical history, and medications for established patients, and populate the information into the patients’ new EHR.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Iowa or current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Integrity and ability to work independently. Initiative to take on tasks without being told.
- Extremely strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in medical terminology.
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement.
- Knowledge of diseases and disease processes.
